My dream job

「My dream job」というテーマでエッセイを書きましょう、という宿題が出た。
最低250ワード以上、子供の頃憧れていた職業でも、今現在、自分が理想としている職業でも、なんでもいいですよ～。とのこと。
　
提出後、先生のチェックを受けたあと、全員のエッセイを壁に貼り出して、クラスメイト全員で読み、どのエッセイが一番よかったか投票する。
　
今回は、私が最高得票をいただき、賞品としてキーホルダーをもらった。
いつまでたっても、ちっとも上達した気がしないなーと落ち込んでいたところだったので、すごく嬉しかった！！　

My dream job?
What is it?
When I was young, I had a dream that I wanted to become a TV announcer  pesenter.
However, to become an announcer in Japan, it needs a great beauty and excellent abilities.
But, I didn’t have neither.
So, I gave up that dream.

Since I graduated from university, I worked as a clerk in a small company.
That job was not what I wanted to do, but I could not find what I really wanted to do at that time.

 After I got married, I worked as a part-time waitress or assistant chef at several restaurants.
I like to deal with many people, and I like cooking.
Even now, I am working at a small cafe near my house.
And cooking lunch for many guests.
This job is not what I really want to do also  either,  but I am enjoying it.

Over the past few years, I have travelled to many countries and have used Airbnb.
I have met many hosts at various houses.
There were some hosts who gave me some inspirations  motivation with their great hospitality and welcome-mind.
The memories of them were reminded me to find “what I really want to do”.

Now, my dream job is to run a B & B someday.
I will invite guests from all over the world, and serve home-cooked break firsts.
I want to know their culture and backgrounds through having relationship with them.
And I want to enjoy together.
To make my dream come true, I have to learn English more.
I will open a B & B, someday, in the near future, please visit us and stay.
