アラフィフ英作文「Running in the city」

留学期間中は、できるだけ毎日提出するつもりのアラフィフ英作文。
これっぽっちの文章を作るのに1時間くらいかかる。
本日のお題は「Running in the city」

他愛もない内容だけど、これも勉強のうち。

'Running in the city'

My hobby is running.

If I have a time, I will run 10 kilometers at a time.
Actually, I am not a fast runner.
At my level, it takes about 70 minutes to run 10 kilometers.

I like running on a trip
Wearing the running shoes, tieing a shoelace, I begin to run.

While I am running in the unknown city,
I can feel as if I was united with the city.
I can feel as if I became a resident of the city.
Walking is too slow, driving is too fast.
The speed of running is perfect to know the city.

The other day, I was running around the UCC.
As usual, in a good mood.
Then, some young men were approaching me from the other side.
They were very drunk.
They were shouting loudly and to splash beer to me.

My body got wet with beer.
The joyful afternoon  running came to end in bad smell of beer.
I found that there are bad young men anywhere in the world.
As same as the city I live in.

In this way, although you may go to run into some accidents,
Running is the best way to know the city where you stay now.

When you are running in the city,
You may go to run into the other face of the city.
